I’ve served in the hospitality sector, as a chef, and in education; my experiences have taught me the value of having fun, which motivated me to create this website.
I’ll never forget playing Swing Ball and Hacky sacks in the backyard with my family and friends when I was a child. I appreciate all forms of outdoor cooking, including the popular Aotearoa Hangi.

What a great idea for a website. In fact now more than ever when we are housebound, I am sure that everyone is looking for great ideas to keep them entertained while at home or in lockdown, as many parts of the world are at the moment.
I also have fond memories of when I was a child and we used to play cricket in our back garden. The neighbourhood kids all used to come and join in, and we made so many friends in this way.
My Mom also often organised picnics in our garden complete with a scavenger hunt.
Funny you should mention cricket, Michel. I’m currently working on another blog about kids and cricket backyard cricket. Scavenger sounds like a great idea fantastic. I’m so glad you took the time to read the about me page.
This is the way friends are made the real way having fun together
Many Thanks

Thank you for sharing your reasons for making this website.
I can remember playing swing ball many many times in the garden when I was younger. It was a great way for us to have fun as a family, as we all took turns, with the winner staying on.
We used to push it into the grass, but before long it would start to rock in the ground and have to be moved again!!!
I think memories are wonderful things for children to take with them into teenage years and into adulthood. They will never be forgotten. Thanks for reminding me of some of mine.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you Geoff for taking the time to read. I would agree on those times from childhood to adulthood the BBQs and fun and games.
Many Thanks

Hi,
My name is Peter Rossi, I am ex-Head of Product Design at Jacuzzi.
I have recently started my private practice as a bespoke hot tub designer, and I am trying to put my name out there.
I was looking for blogs with a good name and authority where I would be proud to have a publication; I like your blog and I would love to contribute if that is possible.
Would you, in principle, consider publishing a non-promotional guest post from me?
If so, I can share with you a few article ideas I had in mind – and let’s see if you like any or not.
Best,
Peter Rossi
